ACCOUNT

Account and Subscription

Basic information about account setup, subscription updates, device changes and the client download page. Keep subscription details only on devices you control.

Is an email address required to sign up?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Keep both credentials secure, and avoid leaving your browser signed in on shared devices. Your account lets you check plan status, get subscription details, access the client download page and submit tickets, so choose a recognizable username that is not reused for other important services.

How do I update the subscription link in my client?

Find the current subscription in your client and use its update, refresh or sync function to retrieve the configuration again. The menu name may vary by client, but it is usually found under subscriptions or configuration management. If the route list still has not changed, sign in to the user panel, copy the subscription details again, remove the old subscription from the client and import it again. Do not share subscription content or paste it into websites from unknown sources.

Do I need to buy a new plan when changing devices?

No. VKVPN does not limit the number of devices that may be online at the same time. Install the appropriate client on the new device, then get and import the subscription from the user panel. For easier troubleshooting, test the connection on the new device by itself before bringing other devices back online. If an old device is no longer in use, remove the subscription from its client to reduce the risk of leaving subscription details on an idle device.

Which systems are supported, and where can I get the client?

Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux are supported. The client download page is available in the user panel. After signing in, you can see the download method and subscription import instructions for your system. Marketing pages do not provide direct links to static installers. After installation, import your own subscription, choose a route and test the connection. Do not copy configurations from unknown sources, since their route status and account ownership cannot be verified.

CONNECTION

Connection and Troubleshooting

Troubleshoot connection issues in order: basic network access, system permissions, subscription configuration and client mode. Change one setting at a time to make the cause easier to identify.

Why isn't a particular app using the accelerated route?

First check whether the client has the required system network permissions, then see whether it is using rule mode or global mode. Some app requests may be classified as direct connections by the current rules, or affected by in-app proxy settings, system private-network settings or background restrictions. Temporarily switch modes for comparison and refresh the subscription rules. Once you identify the cause, return to the mode best suited to everyday use so local services that do not need acceleration are not routed unnecessarily.

What should I check if subscription import fails?

First confirm that the copied content is complete, has no extra spaces at either end and was not truncated by a chat app. Then check whether the client supports the selected import method and whether the plan in your account is active. If the client reports a format error, copy the subscription again from the user panel, delete the failed entry and retry the import. If it still fails, keep the exact error text shown by the client and note the operating system, then submit a ticket instead of simply reporting that it does not work.

What should I do if it says connected but websites will not open?

Disconnect the accelerated connection first and confirm that your underlying network can open commonly used websites. If the basic network is unavailable, the client cannot establish a working route either. Once the basic connection is stable, update the subscription, switch to another route, fully quit the client and reopen it. If only certain websites are affected, check rule mode, browser cache and system time. Change one setting at a time so you can identify which step restored the connection.

What should I do if the client still shows old routes after a configuration update?

Some clients keep a local configuration cache, so clicking Connect does not refresh the subscription automatically. Open subscription management, run an update and confirm that the selected configuration comes from the latest subscription. If old content remains, export any necessary local rules, delete the old configuration and import the subscription again from the user panel. Afterward, check that the client has switched to the new configuration rather than continuing to use the old configuration group.

ROUTING

Speed and Routes

Route performance is affected by your local network, routing distance and the destination service. Start by narrowing the region, then compare routes within that same region.

What should I do about slower speeds or video buffering during peak hours?

Peak-hour performance can be affected at the same time by local broadband, Wi-Fi, the destination website and congestion on international routes, so one speed test cannot identify the cause. Start by stopping background downloads and cloud sync, and use a stable wired connection or strong Wi-Fi where possible. Then update the subscription and switch to another route in the same region. If ordinary pages work but video buffers, lower the playback quality for comparison to determine whether the issue is sustained bandwidth or the destination service itself.

Should I choose by country or by route type?

Narrow the options by the region required by the destination service, then compare available routes within that region. For everyday browsing, prioritize connection stability and routing distance. Streaming, AI Tools and region-specific content may also depend on the destination service's account region and platform policies. Avoid staying on one route indefinitely. When performance fluctuates, update the subscription and switch to another route in the same region; this is usually easier to diagnose than repeatedly trying distant regions.

How should I troubleshoot access issues with AI Tools or Streaming?

First check whether ordinary international websites open through the current route to distinguish a connection problem from a destination-service restriction. Then check the region required by the service, account status, browser cache and client rules, switching to another route in the relevant region if needed. Some services assess the account region, exit address and previous sign-in environment together. After switching routes, reopen the app or start a new browser session instead of only refreshing the existing page.

How should I understand 110+ countries / 250+ routes?

110+ countries / 250+ routes describes the service's coverage and the scale of its route selection. It does not mean every region delivers exactly the same experience on every network. Actual connections depend on your location, local carrier, destination website and current routing. Choose based on your use case and region, then evaluate performance on your own network. If a route is temporarily unstable, update the subscription and compare another route in the same region.

BILLING

Billing and Refunds

Monthly subscriptions and data packages use different data rules. Before placing an order, confirm the usage period, data needs and payment method.

What monthly subscription prices and data tiers are available?

Monthly subscriptions are ¥9.9/month with 60GB · ¥18/month with 250GB · ¥28/month with 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Consider your typical video use, file transfers and number of devices rather than automatically choosing the highest tier. Monthly subscriptions suit users who want a fixed-cycle data allowance; plan details and current account status are shown in the user panel and plan page.

Does the data package reset every month?

No. Data packages remain available until used and never expire. Prices are ¥158/300GB · ¥358/1000GB · ¥658/3000GB. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset each month on the activation date, these packages suit irregular usage and users who want to control their own consumption. Before choosing, decide whether you need a fixed monthly allowance or prefer to keep unused data longer, then review the relevant option on the plan page.

How is a mid-cycle upgrade to a monthly subscription calculated?

The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. Before upgrading, check your current plan, remaining status and target tier in the user panel, then submit the change after confirming the details. Do not create duplicate orders instead of using the upgrade function, as it can become difficult to identify which order belongs to the current plan. If the page does not match your expectations, pause and submit a ticket with the current plan-page details so the account status can be verified.

How do I request a refund?

VKVPN offers 30-day refunds without requiring a reason. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the ticket page, identify the relevant order and explain your refund request. Keep the payment record available for verification. Do not create multiple identical tickets or paste order or subscription details on public pages. Eligibility and processing follow the refund policy and the actual order status in your account; tickets are the central place to record the request and replies.

Which payment methods are supported?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Open the plan page in the user panel, choose the desired plan and view the available payment option. After payment, return to the account page to confirm the order status; do not assume the plan is active based only on a payment-app charge notice. If the status has not updated, keep the payment record and submit a verification request through a ticket. Do not pay the same order again, as this may create duplicate records.

TROUBLESHOOTING

Details to Check Before Submitting a Ticket

Clear information reduces back-and-forth. Include your operating system, the exact error shown by the client, the step where the issue occurred and whether it persists after changing routes. For order-related matters, submit only the necessary records in the user panel and never post subscription content publicly.

  • Confirm that the basic network works normally after disconnecting the accelerated connection
  • Refresh the subscription and confirm that the client is using the latest configuration
  • Record whether the issue affects all websites or only a specific service
  • Keep a recognizable error message instead of writing only “connection failed”
