BEFORE START

Confirm the Setup Sequence Before You Begin

The VKVPN setup process is a continuous path: create an account and stay signed in, then choose a plan based on your regular data needs. Once the order takes effect, open the account overview and copy the subscription link. Finally, import that link into a compatible client on your device. After the client successfully loads the route list, choose a route and start the connection. Following this order avoids repeatedly looking for the import entry before you have a subscription and helps keep the order page, download entry, and subscription address separate.

Before you begin, decide which device you will use and make sure its system can install apps normally. The buttons and permission prompts differ slightly across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, but the core actions are the same: get the client, add the subscription, allow the required network configuration, choose a route, and start the connection. This guide explains where to find the relevant entry on each platform. You do not need to remember protocol parameters or enter server addresses manually.

A subscription link is the connection credential for your current account. Do not publish it or paste it into a webpage from an unknown source. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN shown in this guide is only a format example and cannot be used for an actual connection. The real link is available only in the user panel after signing in; this page does not provide a static subscription address or a direct installer link.

ACCOUNT

Create an Account and Stay Signed In

Click “Start Free” below to open the VKVPN user panel. The account creation page asks you to set a username and password. This service does not require an email address, so there is no need to leave the page to check messages. Use the username for future sign-ins and store the password separately rather than reusing it on other websites. After you submit the form, the page will remain signed in. Keep the browser open, because the next steps—choosing a plan, checking the order status, and finding the subscription entry—are all completed in the same user panel.

If your browser has already saved a VKVPN sign-in session, the link may open the account page directly instead of showing the creation form again. This is normal. Check the account name on the page to confirm that the correct account is signed in. Pay particular attention when several people use the same device: the subscription and order belong to the current account, and any subscription link you copy later will correspond to that account.

After creating the account, take a moment to familiarize yourself with the “Account Overview,” “Download Client,” and “Buy a Plan” areas in the user panel. You do not need to look for route parameters or add network settings manually in the client yet. Complete the plan step first, then retrieve the subscription from the overview after the order takes effect for a clearer workflow.

PLAN

Choose a Plan and Place Your Order

In the plan section of the user panel, you will find monthly subscriptions and data packages. Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB; data resets monthly on the activation date, and mid-cycle upgrades are prorated by the remaining days. Data packages are ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB; they remain available until used and never expire. Choose based on your usage pattern rather than comparing the price alone.

For regular ongoing use with a set amount of data each month, choose the monthly subscription closest to your needs. If your usage is irregular and you want to keep unused data, review the data packages. All options support unlimited simultaneous devices, but the subscription link should still be used only on devices you manage. For a fuller comparison of billing models, upgrades, and use cases, read the plan pricing page before returning to the user panel to place your order.

After confirming the plan, create an order as prompted and pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Do not create the same order again after payment; return to the panel first and check whether the order status has updated. Once the order takes effect, the account overview will generally show the current subscription and data details. If the status has not changed, refresh the panel and check again. VKVPN offers 30-day no-questions-asked refunds; see the refund policy for the applicable process and terms.

SUBSCRIPTION

Get Your Subscription Link from the User Panel

After the order takes effect, open the account overview in the user panel. Find the copy or import entry near the current subscription details and click it to obtain the subscription link for the current account. Some devices can open the installed client directly, while others first copy the link to the clipboard. Either way, the goal is for the client to read the same subscription content. If the page also offers a client download entry, open the download area first to confirm the version for your system, then return to the overview and copy the subscription.

After copying the link, do not open it directly in your browser. A subscription link is not a normal webpage; paste it into the client’s subscription management screen. Opening it in the address bar may only display configuration text, making setup harder and potentially leaving the credential in the browsing history of a shared device. Keep the link on the clipboard and switch to the client for the next step.

If the subscription entry is not visible yet, confirm that the order is active and that the signed-in account matches the account used to place the order. Do not edit characters in the link or replace the example address with a guessed domain. The real subscription must be generated by the panel; a manually assembled address cannot replace the current credential shown there. When you need to copy it again, always return to the account overview for the latest content.

CLIENT IMPORT

Import Your Subscription on Each Platform

Once you have the subscription link, open a client that supports subscription imports on your device. If it is not installed, get the appropriate version provided in the “Download Client” section of the user panel. Do not look for a static installer on this page, because client delivery is linked to your account and subscription status. In the client, find subscription management, configuration management, or an Add entry. Paste in the link copied from the panel, save it, and wait for the route list to load.

WINDOWS

Windows Client

After opening the VKVPN client on Windows, find the subscription management entry in the main interface or sidebar. Choose Add Subscription from URL, paste the copied link in full, and give the subscription an easy-to-recognize name. Save it and run an update; the client will load the available routes and display them in the selection list. Once the list appears, do not change the protocol, port, or other advanced parameters. Keep the configuration delivered by the panel.

When starting the connection for the first time, Windows may ask to let the app modify network settings. Confirm that you are using the VKVPN client obtained from the user panel, then follow the system prompts. If the client shows an empty subscription, return to the panel and copy the link again. Check that no extra spaces were added before or after the pasted content; do not try to repair the address by adding characters manually.

MACOS

macOS Client

Install and open the VKVPN client on macOS, enter the configuration or subscription section, and choose Import from Link. Paste the subscription address and save it. The client may then appear in the menu bar, where you can open the route list from its menu bar icon. The first time you connect, the system will ask to add a network configuration or confirm related permissions. Follow the system dialog to authorize it, then return to the client and check that the connection switch is available.

If the main window does not show routes immediately after importing, open subscription management and run an update. On macOS, the window close button may only hide the main window rather than quit the client, so check the menu bar when returning to the app. For details about system network extensions, coexistence with Apple services, and more specific permissions, read the system compatibility section of the plan guide. Advanced settings are outside the scope of this page.

ANDROID

Android Client

On an Android device, get the VKVPN client from the user panel, open it, and enter the subscription or configuration page. Tap Add, choose Import from Clipboard or URL, paste the subscription link, and save it. Wait for the update to finish, return to the main screen, select a route, and tap the connection switch. The first time you connect, Android will show a network connection confirmation dialog. Read the prompt and allow the connection to be created.

Some systems restrict apps running in the background for extended periods. If the connection works at first but drops soon after switching apps, check the background activity policy in system app management. Avoid changing several system settings at once. First confirm that the subscription updates, routes appear, and the foreground connection works. Then consult connection and troubleshooting guidance as needed.

IOS

iOS Client

On iOS, first check the user panel for the method provided to obtain the VKVPN client. After installation, open a client that supports subscription imports, enter its configuration or subscription page, choose Add from URL, and paste the link. Save it, wait for the routes to load, and select the route you plan to use. The first time you start a connection, iOS will ask to add a network configuration. Follow the system prompts to confirm, then return to the client.

If access to the app is affected by your App Store region settings, follow the user panel and support page instructions for obtaining the client before continuing with the import. Do not use configuration profiles from unknown sources. A successful import means that the client displays the subscription name and route list, not that the browser can open the subscription address. For a more complete iPhone workflow, see the iPhone guide from getting the client to importing a subscription.

VERIFY

Connect to a Route and Verify It Works

After the subscription imports successfully, choose a route near the region of the target service from the client’s route list, then start the connection. You do not need to try every region when starting out. Choose based on the service you want to access: for services in Japan, check Japan routes first; for services in the United States, switch to a US route. See the server page for full regional coverage and route-selection guidance.

After starting the connection, check that the client status changes from disconnected to connected and that the system is no longer waiting for permission. Then open a browser and visit a familiar service you normally use. Check that the page loads, sign-in works, and the content area displays completely. Start with a familiar website rather than testing several unfamiliar services at once; this makes it easier to distinguish a route issue from an account issue or a temporary problem with the target service.

If a page still shows the network result from before the connection, close it and reopen it, or disconnect and reconnect once. When switching routes, wait for the current connection to end completely before starting another route, so the client interface does not continue showing the previous route’s status. Once connected, you do not need to modify the subscription. The client can usually select routes from the existing subscription; refresh the subscription only when the route list has not updated for an extended period.

When using multiple devices, complete the sequence independently on each one: install the client, import the subscription for the same account, choose a route, and verify the connection. VKVPN supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so you do not need to create additional accounts for your own devices. Keep the subscription link secure and do not share it publicly. After changing devices, sign in to the original account, open the overview, copy the subscription again, and import it on the new device.

Client status
Confirm that the connection switch is on and that the current route name matches your selection.

Familiar services
Open a familiar target service and check that the page loads and the sign-in process works normally.

Subscription security
Confirm that the link is stored only in the clients and account panel you manage.

SUPPORT

Where to Start Checking When Something Goes Wrong

When you have connection trouble, return to the most recent step in the process that you confirmed was working. If you cannot access the account, fix sign-in first. If the order is not active, check its status. If the panel shows a subscription but the client has no routes, copy the link again and update the subscription. If routes appear but the connection fails, check system permissions and the result of switching routes. Troubleshooting one layer at a time makes the cause easier to find than changing the client, system, and subscription simultaneously.

Common questions are organized on the support page under “Account and Subscription,” “Connection and Troubleshooting,” “Speed and Routes,” and “Billing and Refunds.” Use that page to look up a specific issue; this guide focuses on the complete setup path. To understand the differences between IEPL dedicated lines, relay routes, and direct connections, or to compare billing models, device sharing, and after-sales support, continue with the cross-border network service buying guide. You do not need to learn every concept during your first setup.

When submitting a service request, open the ticket area from the user panel and describe the platform you are using, the step where the issue occurred, the status shown by the client, and what you have already tried. Do not paste the complete subscription link into the ticket. Support staff can check the necessary service status through your signed-in account. The more specific the description, the clearer the scope of the follow-up will be.

READY

Everyday Use After Setup

For future sessions, open the client with the subscription already imported, choose a route suited to your current purpose, and connect. To update the route list, run an update in subscription management. When changing devices, copy the subscription again from the original account overview and import it. Plans, orders, clients, and tickets are all managed through the same user panel, so you do not need to keep an additional static download address.
